The Origins of MedPodLA
MedPodLA was born from a vision of healthcare that simply didn’t exist yet.
Founded by the husband-wife team of Dr. Daniel Ghiyam and Sanam Ghiyam, we combined 25+ years of medical expertise with sharp business acumen to create something truly revolutionary. Dr. Ghiyam’s extensive clinical experience showed him firsthand how conventional medicine was failing patients, while Sanam’s background in real estate and business optimization revealed a critical pattern among high-performers in her network: despite resources and commitment to wellness, they struggled with persistent brain fog, fatigue, and diminished vitality that standard healthcare couldn’t address.
These weren’t people looking for quick fixes or trendy solutions. They were ambitious individuals committed to optimization in every area of life—yet healthcare was letting them down. They’d leave doctor appointments with “normal” lab results despite feeling anything but normal. They’d try supplement after supplement, therapy after therapy, without the strategic framework needed for true transformation.
When we saw this gap between what medicine offered and what high-performers needed, we knew it was time to build something different. Drawing from Dr. Ghiyam’s medical knowledge and Sanam’s talent for optimization, we envisioned a practice that would deliver the precision, personalization, and results that ambitious individuals deserve.
MedPodLA emerged as that vision realized—where data drives decisions, protocols are precisely calibrated to individual biochemistry, and the standard isn’t managing decline but engineering revival. By combining cutting-edge therapies with concierge-level care, we created the practice we wished had existed years earlier.
Today, MedPodLA serves as the quiet advantage for those who refuse to settle—in health or in life. The practice reflects our core philosophy of “highest and best use in everything we do,” delivering healthcare that finally measures up to the standards of excellence high-performers demand in every other area of their lives.
